The answer is that they are ‘Supernormal Stimuli’; they press a natural ‘button’ all humans have, but they press it a lot harder! They are the intellectual equivalents of cheesecake – they are irresistible.

In this webinar, I am going to look at what it is that makes people become hooked on things like Sudoku or Crossword Puzzles and suggest ways of taking advantage of their addictive potential to send students’ motivational levels sky-high.
